Dana 28 TTB Front Axles

These are used on the 1984-1990 Ford Bronco II and 1983-1990 Ford Ranger using a 58 Inch wheel mount surface. It is also used on the 1993-1997 Ford Ranger but with a larger 59.5 inch wheel mount surface. 

Dana 30 Front Axles

The Dana 30 was used in the 1966-1971 Ford Bronco and has a 7.12 inch ring gear with a 27 spline axle shaft and small 260x U-joints. 

Dana 35 SLA Front Axles

The Dana 35 short-arm long-arm (SLA) axle was used on the 1998-2011 Ford Ranger and 1995-2001 Ford Explorer 4×4. It’s specifications include:

Dana 35TTB Front Axles

The Dana 35 Twin Traction Beam (TTB) was used on the 1990-1997 Ford Ranger 4×4 and the 1991-1994 Ford Explorer 4×4 and uses 5-297x U-joints. It’s specification are:

Dana 44 Front Axles

The Dana 44 was used on the 1971-1977 Ford Bronco, 1948-1979 Ford F-100, 1967-1996 Ford F-150, 1959-1989 Ford F-250 and 1979 Ford F-350. It was a very common axle with variations in its brake type, spindle bolts and applications on other brands of vehicle. 

Dana 44 TTB Front Axles

The Dana 44 TTB is used on the 1980-1996 Ford F-150 4×4 and 198–1997 Ford Bronco. 

Dana 50 Front Axles

The Dana 50 front axle was used on the 1998-2002 Ford F-250 and F-350 models in addition to the 2000-2006 Ford Excursion. The specification for the Dana 50 include:

Dana 50 TTB Front Axles

The Dana 50 twin traction beam TTB) front axle was used on the 1980-1997 Ford F-250 and in some 1980-1986 F-350 models. The specification for the Dana 50 TTB includes a 9 inch ring gear and 30-spline axles. 

Dana 60 Axles

The Dana 60 axles were used on both the front and rear on a large variety of vehicles:

Dana 61 Rear Axles

The Dana 61 axle is used on 1975-1982 Ford F250 rear axle, 1974-1983 Ford E-250, 1980-1985 Ford F-350 and 1981-1987 Ford E-350. The Dana 61 has a 9.75 inch ring gear, 30-spline axle and 10-bolt cover and was used in more than just Ford Vehicles. It has many similarities to a dana 60 axle.

The Dana 70 was used in the 1998-1999 E-350, 1999-2000 E-350, 1998-2010 E-350, 2003-2007 E-450, 1979-1982 E-350, 1979-1980 F-350, 1981-1983 F-350 DRW, 1999-2010 E-350, 2000-2006 E-450, 2003-2008 E-350 DRW

Dana 80 Rear Axles

The Dana 80 rear axle was used in the 1988-2009 F-350, 1998-2011 F-350, 1999-2005 F-450 and 1999-2000 E-450. 

Dana Super 30

The Dana Super 30 was used in the 2002-2010 Ford Explorer 4×4. It has a 7.12 inch ring gear, 27-spline axle and a 10 bolt cover.

The Ford 10.25 axle was used in the 1985-1998 Ford E-250, 1985-1998 Ford F-250 and the 1985-1998 Ford F-350. Their specifications include:

Ford 10.5 Rear Axles

The Ford 10.5 rear axle was used on the 1999-2009 Ford F-250, 1999-2009 Ford F-350 and the 2000-2006 Ford Excursion. Its specifications include:

Ford 7.25 Rear Axles

The Ford 7.25 rear axle was used on the 1963-1967 Econoline and 1967-1968 ranchero. It has a 7.25 inch ring gear, 28 spline and axle ratios of 3.2, 3.4, 3.5 and 4.

Ford 7.50 Rear Axles

The Ford 7.50 axle was used on the 1984-1990 Ford Bronco II and the 1983-2011 Ford Ranger. It has a 7.50 inch ring gear and 28 splines. 

Ford 8 Inch Rear Axles

The Ford 8 inch rear axle was used in the 1957-1978 Ford Ranchero. It has an 8 inch ring gear and 28-spline axles. 

Ford 8.8 Inch Rear Axles

The Ford 8.8 inch rear axle was used in the 1984-1996 Ford Bronco, 1990-2011 Ford Ranger, 1991-2001 Ford Explorer, 1996-2002 Ford Expedition, 1983-2006 Ford E-150, 1983-1998 Ford E-250 and 1983-2006 Ford F-150. They have, as the name suggests, an 8.8 inch ring gear and 10 bolt rear cover. With some exceptions, they had 31-spline axle shafts. 

The independent rear suspension version also has 8.8 inch gears and 31 spline axle shafts and were used in the 2002-2019 Explorer and 2003-2019 Expedition. 

The Independent front suspension again had 8.8 inch gears but with 28 or 31 spline axles. Spline variation depended on the year and model but this axle was used in the 1997-2008 Ford F-150, F-250 and Expedition, plus, the 2009-2019 F-150 and Expedition (31-Spline). 

Ford 9 Inch Rear Axles

The famous Ford 9 inch was used in a wide range of vehicles. Some of the truck and commercial applications were the 1957-1979 Ranchero, 1966-1984 Ford Bronco, 1957-1979 Ford F-100, 1957-1986 Ford F-150 and 1961-1978 Ford E-150. 

It uses a 9-inch ring gear, with 28 or 31 splines. 

Ford 9-⅜ Rear Axles

Sometimes called the 9-1/2 inch, the Ford 9-⅜ axle was used in the 1964-1975 Ford F-100, 1975-1976 Ford E-150 and 1964-1975 Ford F-150. It has a 9-⅜ ring gear with 31-spline axle shafts. 

Ford 9.75 Inch Rear Axles

The Ford 9.75 rear axle was used on the 1997-2020 F-150, 1997-2002 Expedition, 2010-2019 F-150 (Raptor) and 1999-2014 E Vans. The specifications include:
