Not only that, but we also sell axles and rear ends that have been rebuilt by our professionals. We also use specialized equipment in our axle repairs. For example, our lathe allows us to restore axles back to factory specifications. We also want to make sending and receiving axles as stress-free as possible. To do this we use our courier service to pick up axles from your home or mechanic in Vancouver. We also use them to deliver the axles anywhere in the country.

At HRA, we want to provide the highest quality repairs possible. We are able to do this by using the highest quality parts we can get. That is why we use Timken bearings and seals in our axle rebuilds, repairs and modifications. Also, they are well known for being the standard all other bearings are measured against in the bearing industry. Their bearings were also used in the James Webb Telescope that was launched in December 2021. Our axle rebuilds are covered under our warranty. These two combined mean that you can trust in our axle rebuilds, repairs and modifications. Curious about what kinds of modifications we can do? We can narrow an axle for a hot rod, or any other modification you can think of. Contact us and let us know how we can help.

What is the most useful way to know if your axle is damaged?

Unsure if your axle has been impaired? There are many ways your axle may have been damaged. Whether it was normal wear and tear or damage from an accident, knowing if it is damaged is important. You may experience some of the following as you drive if your axle has been damaged. To make sure the damage doesn’t get worse if you do experience some of these symptoms go to your auto repair shop and have them inspect your axle.

  • Noise – The noise from axle damage will often be generated from gears no longer meshing together properly. This causes the gears to grind or knock against each other while you drive. The axle just needs to get a dent or a bend for this to happen.
  • Vibrations – A strong vibration will be felt when driving your vehicle from the axle damage. The feeling can also feel more intense as you turn the steering wheel, also.
  • Leaks – You may see fluids leaking from the axle. This is caused by a crack or a dent in an axle. This is a cause for concern because the axle may no longer be properly lubricated.

Differential remanufacturing, modifications and rebuilds.

Your differential will, over time be damaged from multiple sources. This normal wear and tear from use will mean your differential will need to be repaired or replaced. Repairing a differential is a cost-effective method of extending the life of your vehicle. There are two main ways to repair a differential, remanufacturing and also rebuilding. Remanufacturing will replace worn-out and damaged parts after those parts have been thoroughly inspected. On the other hand, rebuilding the differential will only replace parts that have to be replaced. These parts are cleaned and thoroughly inspected, and if they can be repaired we will repair them. Also, we are able to modify differentials. This could be modifying the differential for off-road use. Whatever you need, we can help!
