How a Repaired Axle Assembly works

In order to repair an axle, we must first disassemble it. We remove the ring gear, bearing set, and axle shafts from the axle as well. Also, the exposed housing will be exposed after these components have been removed. Axle straightening is then completed on our lathe. The lathe also ensures there will be no future axle problems and restores the axle to factory specifications. We manufacture our own replacement spindle ends to replace any damaged spindle end on the axle. Finally, we then reassemble, paint and also fill the axle with fluids.

Our process for our Rebuilt Axle Assembly

Disassembling the axle is our first step in the process. The next step is taking the attachments off the axle and revealing the bare housing. All parts of the axle are then cleaned. We then replace the ring and pinion set with an OEM replacement set that is of high quality. We choose Timken bearings for our bearing replacements because they are the industry standard. As a result, should it be necessary to replace a bearing, Timken bearings are used. Next, the seals on the axle are replaced. A refurbished axle shaft, which has been thoroughly inspected, is what we use to replace the axle shafts. When a rotor is bolted behind the hub, it may need to be replaced, or it may need to be rotated so new brake pads can be applied. The last step is to reassemble, paint, and fill the axle with fluid.
